Dr. DeNoble is the vice president of Hissho, Inc., a scientific and medical communications company. He is an expert in addiction and the effects of tobacco on youth. Dr. DeNoble received his Doctorate degree in 1976 in the field of Experimental Psychology from Adelphi University, Garden City, N.Y. He has postdoctoral fellowships from both the National Institute of Alcohol and Alcohol Abuse at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and the National Institute of Drug Abuse at the University
Karla S. Sneegas, MPH, serves as the Branch Chief, Program Services Branch, Office on Smoking and Health at CDC. She joined the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in January 2012. In this role she is manages CDC’s National Tobacco Control to implement evidence-based best practices for tobacco control to States, Territories, Tribes, and National Networks.
Prior to her appointment at CDC in 2012, Sneegas served as the Assistant Commissioner for the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission for the Indiana State
Jeffrey’s passion for social change began in high school when he volunteered for an anti-tobacco group. Observing the lack of effective social marketing services, he started Rescue Social Change Group when he was 17 years old. Nichole Veatch is the Vice President for Research at the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids. The Campaign’s mission is to promote policies and programs that prevent kids from smoking, help adult smokers quit and protect everyone from secondhand smoke.
The Research Department conducts primary and secondary research to support the advocacy and communication efforts of the Campaign and its many partners.
